About Me
Hello and welcome! My name is Lauren (she/her) and I am so glad you’re here. I earned my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in Depth Psychology, from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara. I completed my clinical traineeship at The Center for Professional Counseling in Valley Village, where I worked with children, adults, and couples.
Before pursuing a career as a psychotherapist, I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University. There, I found a passion for storytelling and the ways that it can highlight, nurture, and inform the human experience. I went on to work in the film industry for 10+ years as a post-producer with the same goal in mind: to uplift others and encourage connection through storytelling. Ultimately, I moved toward a more direct approach to care by training to become a psychotherapist.
I am registered in California as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#163494) and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (#22790). I practice under the supervision of Megan Attore, LMFT (#139682) and see clients in-person at Inner Vision Psychotherapy in Pasadena and virtually throughout California.
